Our string of beautiful days continues here as we head out for a ride I did two years ago. Today’s ride was through more of a grape growing area of which there are many here!

Churches!

Sommieres is a small town on the Le Vidourle River. A town which I stayed in on my cross country trip two years ago. Check out those trip reports here: https://davefaitlemonde.com/2018/04/25/stage-22-sommieres-to-uzes/ https://davefaitlemonde.com/2018/04/24/stage-21-saint-guilhem-le-desert-to-sommieres/

In Sommieres, we jumped on a rail to trail for the next 20 kilometers and strolled through the French countryside.

Notice my bike is featured heavily in this episode. I’m having some Ruby withdrawals so I needed to find a substitute best friend! Here is a gratuitous Ruby image (not in France)! Isn’t she sweet!

Notice how both Ruby and my bike are such great posers for the camera!

Out and back on the rail to trail and back through Sommieres for a couple more images!

Back through the vineyards on a different route back to Lauret.

Fall colors!

And one last road shot! Yeah, that is a road not a greenbelt bike path. As Rich stated today, on 90 percent of our roads today we saw more cyclists than cars!
