The entrance road to one of the island’s many historic plantations.

More Live Oaks. They are called Live Oaks because they don’t loose their leaves in the winter.

My Backroads Steed out for an afternoon ride.

A view over one of the forks of Battery Creek

This was an interesting pier at Port Royal with a tower to climb!

Pier with cyclists!

Tower with climbers.

Pier with Backroads Steed.

A view from the high point.

A few miles away, alligators!

Man fishing for bait fish.

Finally a view of the river from Beauford.
