Today we loaded up the boat for a short trip on the Inter-Coastal Waterway.
After an hourish, we arrived at Daufuskie Island.
My steed for the day.
Soon we were rolling across this very quiet island.
It was a weird mix of mostly empty golf courses and vacation homes.
The riding was pretty nice with no hills, zero!

Live oaks and empty narrow roads.

After lunch we switched to a different mode of transportation for a short trip to the coffee shop.
And then another mode of transportation for the return trip to the mainland. A nice quiet day on island time!
