Smoke season was in full force in September. I was scheduled to fly into Cold Meadows in the Frank Church Wilderness for an ITA trail trip but the wilderness fires forced us into an alternate trip. We ended up in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Stonebraker Ranch. This image has some filters applied to bring out the texture of the moment.
