As I flew back to Texas earlier this week, I had a beautiful morning and a clean airplane window so I shot a few photographs.
I couldn’t help but think about my good friend John knowing that he had climbed many of these mountains. This image below in particular drew my attention as it shows the Lost River Ranges and Bell Mountain (lower right side.). John had told me last summer that Bell Mountain was one of his all time favorite climbs. It also holds some significance to me as well as my family camped below it when I was a kid.

Finally, an image of the Upper Snake River….. Have you ever wonder why they call it the Snake River? It’s not because there are a lot of snakes!
