Moonset Shoot, Lake Payette, Idaho

Scroll down to content

My online low light photography class continues and this week’s assignment was to shoot the full moon. A quick look at the forecast and it was obvious that this morning was the closest I will be to seeing the full moon this month. That is the moon lighting up the sky.

Since I wasn’t going to get any direct moon shots, I needed to start getting creative.

The moon trying to peak though.

Since I struck out with the moon, I ran over to one of my favorite sunrise spots and grabbed this image. Here is another more spectacular sunrise a couple weeks ago from the same spot: https://davefaitlemonde.com/2020/05/23/lake-payette-sunrise-mccall-idaho-2/
