I spent the bulk of April in France and as a result, I have thousands of images from that month. Of all the photographs taken that month, this was perhaps my third or fourth favorite image. My first few favorites are being reserved for a special upcoming feature on my web site for which you will just need to stay tuned.
A little bit about this image….. Nicole and I were on our last transfer day together from Besancon to Dijon riding through the beautiful French countryside. I was a relatively long transfer with a couple of busy roads, perhaps not the best day on the bike. We then rolled through an area of tree farms. Both of us, without saying a word, stopped and ditched our bikes and started shooting pictures. It was a stunningly beautiful moment with great light, interesting subject matter, and odd symmetry.
