In March, I traveled to Chile, the land of volcanos. Nothing like a perfectly shaped conical volcano especially with a beautiful cycling road aimed directly at its base. This is the only iPhone image to make this year’s best of list. In some cases, it is difficult to travel with my big camera so drastic measures must be taken! I’m getting better at cycling with my full sized DSLR, or perhaps more accurately, I am doing fewer rides where I can’t take it! Later in this same ride, Tommy and I climbed this volcano basically to the snow line.
