Up early this morning to shoot the Perseids meteor shower. Turns out it is challenging to capture the little basterds! Look closely!
A good part of the challenge for this year’s shower was that a fairly bright moon was up all night. There was only about 10 minutes between moonset and the astronomical twilight, a period of maximum darkness.
I had a lot of photos like this, an empty net!
Notice the airplane moving above the mountains.
