First up a little report on our evening trip into Košice. This is an old Soviet Union Memorial. Signs of mid 20th century history is defiantly here everywhere and this memorial is stunning. It’s one thing to read about it and quite another to see it in person.

The people of Slovakia are debating whether to take this memorial down because it “offends” some people. What do you think?

Next day we start our ride near a rose garden.

I think this town is like Idaho.

The area of Southern Slovakia is very agricultural and perfect for cycling.

Yeah!

More flowies.

A random countryside park with Soviet memorials.

Soon we cross over into Hungary and started riding on this amazing bike path. I’m trying to ride with Harry and Bonnie while taking photographs.

I’ve ridden cycling paths all over the world…. this one ranks high on the best of all time.

The path just keeps going.

Harry checks out the lake on the way to our lunch spot.

After lunch we pass this old Soviet checkpoint.

The Weasel and the Rat make their way along flatter sections of the bike path.

Okay, I’m thinking y’all are getting the idea.

More Hungarian agriculture.

Soon we hit the Pringles Climb. I managed to snap this blurry picture of The Electron.

Looking back at the bottom of the decent.

Holly Church Steeples Batman!

Finally, we finished up at this winery.
