First up a random image from a random hike in Ponderosa Park.
A few McCall locals had been getting reports of downfall plugging the Boulder Lake Trail. Since this is one of the most popular trails in Valley County we decided to rally over and cut a few logs. Boy there were a few logs…… “ We did what we could!” Notice the selfie of my finger in the bottom left… Duh!
Large complicated cuts with green trees. That seems to be the theme for the Summer of 2026.
In the end, we only cleared about 100 yards of trail but we did our part.
We headed out mid afternoon to beat the oncoming thunderstorm.
