After arriving at the Selway Lodge, we were greeted by Anna and Cory, the lodge caretakers then we waited for our luggage to arrive.

The Selway Lodge is a slice of paradise in the middle of Idaho’s wilderness.

Our tools for the week.

After some formalities we were on our feet headed to base camp at Bear Creek.

The Selway River was ripping along quite well.

After crawling over a bunch of downed trees we reach Bear Creek and cross the bridge to our camp site.

As it turned out, we based camped here at this lovely spot and commuted to work the rest of the week.

After setting up camp we struck out to do some afternoon work.

This theme would be repeated about 90 times over the next few days……. Before and after.
