Gravel Grinding – Valley County, Idaho

Scroll down to content

This week we experienced some spectacular spring weather here in the McCall area and I was able to get out almost every day for some bike riding. South of town the snow was mostly gone. In the distance Jughandle Mountain on the right and Boulder Mountain mid-image.

The warm spring temperatures had the waterfall on Lemah Creek ripping with spring runoff.

Lake Payette is still mostly frozen and the light breeze across the ice made for some air conditioning.

Warren Wagon Road was clear and dry with snow walls.

If you make a wrong turn the road turns to a slushy!
