Time to climb my first peak in New Zealand, Mount Pauanui located above the town of Pauanui which is close to our hotel.
As we move up the mountain, we get great views of the South Pacific.
Summit! Our hotel is below the trees. The summit here is about 1200 feet above the ocean.
