Early in July this year, Art lead an ITA trail crew up the North Fork of Lick Creek which is a very remote canyon in the Payette National Forest. I always like shooting images of Art because he usually looks like he has just stepped out of an 1880’s mountain man photo. Art is one of the most experienced and talented back country hikers you will ever meet and his lumberjack skills are peerless. This image, shot on the last day of our hitch, reflects the hard work and effort he put in day after day.
