October took me back to Europe for the first time in 2 years and as a result, I shot more images this month than any other this year. Literally thousands and thousands! See all the October blog posts here. Really too many runner ups to publish but one in particular caught my eye. This is a gate at the St. George Castle in Lisbon.
The image of the month for October is of the Lisbon Train Station. While killing some time waiting for a transfer, I was walking around the station and spotted this angle. I quickly ran back to my bags and grabbed my camera, hoping to catch this red train before it departed. It wasn’t until it had been posted and someone else pointed out how much they liked this image that I really took it all in…. Photography can be like that!
