I was out for a visit with my daughter Nicole and we managed to get out for a little photography. This is a rainy morning in Old Town Alexandria.
The Potomac River
Random obelisk of which many can be found around the area.
On our morning walk along the Potomac River, the skies darkened and we started hearing thunder. Luckily, we dodged the worst of the storm.
Later in the day is was down to the National Mall and obligatory images of the Washington Monument.
As chance would have it, we were there on the day of “Peak Bloom” for the cherry blossoms.
