On a beautiful fall morning, John, Art, Ruby, and I headed up to Crystal Lake for a morning hike. We needed to be back in town early today so we started off in the pitch dark with head lamps. The morning offered amazing sunrise light. Notice the progression of the light and progress up the mountain.
This image looks up the Lake Fork Creek drainage with Hum Saddle in the distance and Lick Creek Saddle in front of it.
At Crystal Lake, a little fishing was in order.
An amazing chilly setting with a dusting of snow.
No hike with Art is complete without a mini campfire!
