April is time for the Lyrid Meteor Shower so I headed out bright and early for a couple Milky Way / Meteor images. I studied the skies but did not see any meteors. I knew that they would mostly be in the northeast sky so that’s where I shot. To my surprise, although I could not see the shower, my camera was able to pick them up. It turned out that almost every image I shot to the northeast had meteors!
Looking other directions there were no meteors.

Amazing shots. Especially since the morning was totally fogged in. Lucky for the clear sky when you took the shots. Did you take the photos from Shady Beach ?
