My expedition mates soon learned that I was here for the photography as much as the trail maintenance. With a fairly good moon over night, I took the opportunity to do a middle of the night photography session. Shown here is Camp One along the Middle Meadows.
With a nearly full moon, we did not see the Milky Way but we still had lots of stars.
Up again at daybreak for an early morning shoot.
