The sun is rising earlier and earlier now, the official sunrise is at 6:01 AM so that makes for an early morning to get ready and set up.  I generally like to be there about an hour and a half before sunrise.  Today, as I walked onto the beach, I couldn’t believe my luck.  With the vantage point I selected, the moon was rising right over McCall and Jughandle Mountain.  I quickly set up my gear and fumbled with my settings…..

Unfortunately, to do the moon justice, I need a longer lens.  This is about the hardest I can push this lens.
