After spending the weekend in Ann Arbor, which as you can imagine, is an academic and liberal fortress, a quick trip up to Ft Worth feels like a different planet! Not to say people here aren’t academic, it’s just in a totally different way! Today I started a cross ride at Mellow Johnny’s, the only other location than Austin.

Tons of paved and gravel routes along the river drainage system…..not even a sniff of a hill all day!
