Kraków, Poland (Day 2)

Today was reunion day with all our friends rolling into town. Joining us are Mary Ellen (seemingly the only normal one of the group), The Ho Dog, The Rat, The Weasel, The Hare Dog, and The Electron. A more motley crew you will not find! We stopped to get some obwarzaneks (don’t call them pretzels or bagels!)

Plac Szczepański, a famous place apparently.

Things took a dark turn once we started exploring the recent history of this area. We spent the morning learning about not so long ago regional aggressions and I was not feeling happy.

Luckily a tuk tuk ride will turn around my attitude…. or at least the Polish version of a tuk tuk.

Rynek Podgórski

Same church but different angle.

One of may cool bridges.

Now it’s time for a couple of bike art images.

Well, look at this, a very rare and artsie self portrait.

After a good long day, amazing dinner with amazing friends, and evening walk in the main square, it was time to call it a day! More darkness is on the horizon for tomorrow……
