I can’t remember the last time I did this mountain bike ride. It’s one that offers great views and challenging single track.
This is a pretty good sample the single track portion of this route, defiantly challenging. It must have been 4 or 5 years ago the last time I rode it and it was a brushy beat down. At that time I basically scratched it off my regular route list.
Somebody has cleared the brush installed new signs and buffed it up. It’s now back on the list!
Blackwell Lake, at least from this viewpoint is not a regular mountain beauty, but if I added on a little hike and looked around the corner it would show much better.
Talk about a gorgeous day! Wow!

Up on the ridge, one is treated with amazing fall views before the elevator down.
