Cly Lake #1 and 65ish Peak – Payette National Forest, Idaho

We have had a string of incredible fall days here in Central Idaho. On this particular day I headed out for a stroll to Cly Lake #1.

This has turned into an annual fall favorite and is a spot I have now visited many times.

The colors right now are off the chart.

Down at the lake, there was a peaceful easy feeling.

Gazing down the Lick Creek Drainage.

Perhaps a stroll up 65ish Peak is in order…… Yes, yes it is!

The views of Beaverdam Peak from this ridge can’t be beat. The air today is crystal clear.

Looking northish, the 20 mile drainage.

From the top of 65ish, this is the view looking southish.

Now looking eastish.

Working back down the mountain through the fall colors. What a great way to spend a fall day!
