Adventure! McCall to Lewiston, Idaho

Scroll down to content

Generally, when I travel in and out of Idaho, I fly. However, flying out of McCall is not possible so I will drive to Boise or Lewiston and utilize their airports. When I was here in February, I flew out of Lewiston so I needed to go get my truck. Luckily, we have bus service from here to there!

Other than getting around big cities, I have never taken a bus from here to there. There were only about 7 or 8 people abroad so I was fairly comfortable in my own row.

After a bit, we crossed the “Time Bridge” just out of Riggins. This is the point where the time zone changes from Mountain Time to Pacific Time.

The bus ride takes about 30 minutes longer than driving up yourself. We stopped about 5 or 6 times along the way at the small towns in route.

Here we are crossing the Clearwater River as we roll into Lewiston. In all, about 3 hours and a very comfortable ride although the curved road had me feeling a little green! A trip to Costco and an overnight visit with the parents and I head back to McCall.
