It was a cold crisp day but the sunshine was quite inviting so I headed out onto the lake with a few friends.

I was shooting with my fixed wide angle lens so the bald eagle soaring overhead was less than a dot on these images.

In the distance, the light snow flurry made for hazy hills.

Every time I take my camera out, it’s a process, remove ski poles, remove gloves, remove camera from bag then take off lens cap….. shoot images and reverse the steps. Only Ruby understands and patiently waits for me.

Heading back after reaching Huckleberry Bay, the clouds are building on Jug-handle Mountain.

Looking north, the same story on Blacktip Mountain.

Five people and four dogs, heading back home.
