April’s image of the month wins more for content that actual artistic merits. I participated in a trail project for the Idaho Trails Association in coordination with the Payette National Forest. We had done an out and back hike up the trail along Big Creek and a couple days earlier had walked right past this cave without noticing while headed the other direction. Cave Creek comes in from the left and the Big Creek Trail passes underneath the cave. You can just make out the trail just above Big Creek and it gives you some scale on the cave…..It has to be 50 or 60 feet high.
