As I do most years, I spent most of February in Idaho. It’s alway nice to remind myself about winter and the month of February is usually the heart of cold weather in Idaho. I am almost guaranteed great skiing and winter hiking conditions. I shot this image of a frozen Lake Payette on a day with unusual light and clouds.
