I made a quick trip to Texas and visited the family. No trip to Houston is complete without a bike ride along the Buffalo Bayou!
Those not familiar with the Southern United States might ask: “What’s a bayou?” Well, its basically a lowland costal marsh that is subject to frequent flooding…… In Houston, you make a park out of that area. When it’s not flooded, its a beautiful green belt through the city.
For our transportation, we selected these fine rental cruisers!
What you can’t see in these pictures is the heat and humidity….. South Texas in late July is a sauna!!!!
