Market Day, Saint Hippolyte du Fort, France

Today we headed to the local farmer’s market about an hour ride away from Lauret (we took the scenic route). However, the day started off with some very early morning low light photography around Lauret.

Notice the shooting start in this one!

A hint of sunrise.

Breakfast at the hotel and off to the market! Here is a low light shot of our hotel front.

One of the only signs of Halloween here.

A typical local market here in Saint Hippolyte du Fort. These regional markets travel from one town to the next on a one week rotation. It’s fun to travel to the different towns throughout the week.

The cheese lady.

For the folks back home in Idaho, notice the short sleeves and leaves on the trees?

Of course many vendors selling veggies!

Then it was back home fully loaded with dinner for the evening. A job that will ultimately determine that 4 cooks are too many in the kitchen.
