Nice little hike up to Twin Lakes today. On the drive to the trailhead, needed to stop and shoot a couple images across Goose Lake as it looked like a mirror!

Slab Butte from higher up the trail. I didn’t have my Mountain Siri with me today so I made up a bunch of crap then came home and looked at the map to figure out the name of this peak. Its amazing how your hiking partners totally believe you when you start making up names of peaks, lakes, and streams while hiking! The trick is sounding very confident in your geographical knowledge database! 🙂
