Finally catching up on some photography processing.  Yesterday was a big haul for images.  I shot over 250 photos.  I need to break today’s blog into two posts.  This one is full of iPhone images from the ride and I will post again later today with some other non ride stuff!

Here is a little potato harvesting, it hits home with this Idaho boy!

Off in the distance is our target for today.  We will be riding halfway up the Osorno Volcano

Let the games begin, here is the start of the volcano climb.  It ascends about 4000 feet in about 12 kilometers.

Here are a couple of rare guest images of Tommy and I making our way up.  Special thanks to Sophia for sharing these!  This one shows me hanging on to Tommys wheel.  If only it looked as steep as it really was!

The last kilometer was brutal, over 17 percent.  Tommy leaves me in the dust to take the KOM glory!  The finish is at this ski station about 40 percent of the way up this 10000 foot volcano.

Views from the finish!  After about 15 minutes of recovery, I was able to think about some photography.
