December Cross Riding. Sam Houston National Forest, Texas

Scroll down to content

Yesterday I returned to the San Houston National Forest for some mid-December gravel grinding.  Although I’m finally starting to get to know the area, it didn’t stop Tim and I from getting momentarily lost….. we knew we were still in Texas so all was good!  A misty cool start gave way to perfect 60 degrees riding conditions.  50 miles of gravel ribbon followed by a beef brisket sandwich (not pictured) at the local BBQ shack in New Waverly.  Le jour était très bien !
