The next day we head over to see some Hopi ruins.

Wildlife!

Ruins, the one on the right was the man cave.

There is a lot of nothing out here.

After visiting the ruins, the boys dropped me off and headed back to the valley. I went for a hike seeking the Park high point. The small yellow sign on the left says look out for poisonous snakes and insects.

Cool rocks and skies.

Life for the Hopi community out here must have been hard.

A few moments later, the park high point.

Views from the summit with the park headquarters in the foreground and the San Francisco Mountains on the horizon.

I do like these images of wide open spaces and wide open lanes.

Time to head back to camp and prepare for my next stop. This park has officially been mined out.
