It’s time for a new adventure to Central America. This time, Flores Guatemala and Lago Peten Itza. After a real ass kicker of a travel day yesterday, its good to be in a tropical paradise.

While it looks like a chilly day on Lake Payette, it’s not! Actually this is Lago Peten Itza and it’s pretty warm and even a touch humid.
We are staying across the lake from the town of Flores but a short boat ride over to this vibrant village.
Guatemala reminds be a bit of Cuba with lots of vibrant colors.
