Day two at CGSP and I’m off for a morning hike. Heading south first.

The trail takes one into this wash for a good distance.

Later I climb onto the park’s western rim.

Looking down on the gorge.

More interesting textures.

Down below we have the campground and a careful eye can pick out the van mid image.

This giant shark fin sits in the middle of the park.

Rocks.

Low angle sun coming through a gap in the rocks.

Ok, y’all get the gist….After about 10 hiking miles I have mined this basin out. Time to move on!
