It has been a bit of a strange year for snow. January has been most bluebird days with no snow accumulation. Therefore, let’s go for another hike!

Jigsaw! This is a hike that is best done in the Spring and Fall due to lots of rock and therefore, potential for ice. In fact, if you look mid screen you can see a nice ice flow on which we almost lost Finn.

As a result of potential hazards, I have never hike this route in the winter.

As we make our way to the top, Finn lets me do a photo shoot.

I turn to shoot the horizon and the Walhalla Mountains then……

Finn decided the photo shoot was not over and he wanted some action shots.

Tom, Finn, and I move over to the sitting area at the top.

As Tom sipped on his hot tea, I shot a few summit shots. We did head over and explore a new route to Payette Point but after a few minutes of a brush-beat down we opted to turn back. Another amazing bluebird day in Valley County!
