On this morning we were out for a tour of the Golfo Dulce.
Captain Tom picked us up a little after 8:00am.
Captain Tom and first mate Canela. Well at least the view for Jill will be good all day…. The views for me picked up later in the day.
We saw lots of dolphins, turns out I’m not much of a wildlife photographer as these were my best shots.
Across the Golfo, the Piedras Blancas National Park where amazing jungle diversity meets amazing marine diversity.
Dolphins and birds working together to catch fish….well maybe the dolphin was doing all the working.
The afternoon clouds start to bubble up and my filter makes things seem more dramatic.
We stop at a remote lodge for lunch where we had them cook up the fish we caught along the way. The Playa Cativo Lodge.
Tom and Canela go back out to get the boat.
Also along the way we pick up Allie, Tom’s girlfriend. I have more body fat in my upper left butt cheek than both of them have in their whole body…. combined!
Crocodile Bay Pier. After this boat trip I’m thinking it’s time to go on a diet.
