Today’s forecast called for rain showers all day so the morning walk to the market did not yield particularly colorful photographs, it was however, still very beautiful.

Today we are adding a new person to our mix and we needed to run to the airport to pick up Mark. When the clouds broke we decided to make a quick loop around the valley first.

I try to tell people back home about how the light is just different in the South of France but you just can’t get a sense of it until you see it in person.

Pic St. Loup and Pic de l’Hortus.

A misty morning in the lower valley.

Winter has fully set in here and there aren’t many leaves left on the grapes.

Shooting the plus sign in Valflaunès.

Anne and I spied this gravel road from above on our hike yesterday and we decide to check it out. Turns out it was a pretty nice route and it lead to other fine route additions.

A little higher up you can see the low valley mist.

A little later the clouds were gathering so it was time to head back.

At the top of the hill, I shoot the apartment building and the hills beyond.

When riding back in from this directions, the decent on the D17E7 is always frosting on the cake!
