Today we woke up to a cold snap so we decided to trade in our regular bikes for a bundled up e-bike ride.

Our climb to the rim was quite enjoyable and the turbo mode meant no cold sweat at the top.

The pictures do not really show the biting wind although if you look at the tree you can see the needles are blurry.

This morning the roads were very quiet.

Time to make the decent back to the valley!

Larry gets in the bunny hill bomber tuck position.

What a cornering machine!

I shot this location about a week ago and the leaves were still on the trees. This looks much more winterish which matches the air temperature.

It was about here that Larry and I passed a real cyclist out on a training ride…… we waved and he didn’t even acknowledge us.

Cool looking French compound.

Despite the cold temperatures the air was crystal clear.

After the ride we decided to head to this cool bike shop, Larry is ready to pull the trigger on an e-gravel bike…. and so am I! Luckily it is the end of the season and they had no e-gravel bikes our size.

It was Friday evening in Lauret and that is Pizza Truck Night! Larry makes a new friend with Pizza Jo as we get our pizza.
