Lauret Ride “A”, France

Yesterday, the picture of the day came early!

Talk about your oranges!

Our daily breakfast walk to the Epicerie chez Julie always nets some good photos.

Oh Lord, thank you for this image.

After a quick trip to Montpellier to drop off Dave and Jill, Larry and I hit the road.

Pic St. Loup never gets old and is always painted in different light and clouds.

It was nice not to be chasing ebikes, now just Larry.

Larry is sporting a red jersey which makes my job easier.

I do love this road, Route De Saint-Mathieu going south.

Larry bridging back up to the break.

Taking a break on the first big climb of the day. The Tour de France came through here about 3 years ago and the names were still painted on the road although significantly faded now.

The climb takes us up close to Pic St. Loup. It looks different from every angle.

We are looping around Pic St. Loup so we see every side.

Pic St. Loup a close up.

Horse pastures of Southern France.

After a bunch more climbing we descend into Pompignan.

Late in the day, the climb out of Pompignan has a bite to it but Larry smokes the switchback.

At the top of the climb I find this interesting view of the town and the switchback. Another great day in cycling heaven!
