McCall to Pensacola and Back

I prepared this blog a couple weeks ago and did not want to jinx the closing of my house which finally happened today…… Therefore, I circle back to the first part of October with this post: A journey of over 5000 miles starts out in the wrong direction….. It’s been nearly two weeks since my last post, mostly because it was one long continuous cross country adventure. For me, life has been a series of major transitions. Places I have lived include, Idaho Falls, Moscow (Idaho not Russia), Pocatello, Back to Moscow, Seattle, Ann Arbor, back to Seattle, Boise, Houston, McCall, Pensacola, and now, who knows?!?

For a variety of reasons, our time in Pensacola is now complete. We very much enjoyed our time there and will miss many things about this amazing part of the south. Now, the journey. It starts off going the wrong direction into Seattle, along the way, a few peaks in the Cascade Mountains. Here we have Mount Adams and Mount Hood in the distance.

Mount Raindeer 🙂 and in the distance you can just make out Mount St. Helens which I climbed back in June.

Seattle, was I sitting on the right side of the plane or what? Well, it was actually the left side.

We are going to miss our house and neighborhood, I doubt that I will ever own a tree again as cool as this one!

A big shout out to Austin and the Boys at Bayside Moving!

Fast forward to the drive. I needed to get this car to Idaho and turns out the most logical way to get it there is to drive it….. who knew? Crossing the Mississippi River, kind of a big deal both physically and mentally.

Know what they have in the South? Cotton!

I think we are in Kansas Toto!

Turns out it is hard to shoot photos and drive all day long. Sooooo skipping ahead, back in Paradise.
