After lunch on Day 2 it was time to do a little fishin.

Tom was whippin the crap out of the water then he caught a big one!

A big tree that is! Tom is a fairly frugal guy so he was not going to let that pine get away with his fly!

After a little tree climbing, the fishing continues.

After a nice afternoon at the lake it was time to get back to our home away from home. To do so, we needed to climb back up to the ridge.

Now from the top we look back down on Storm Peak Lake.

We take a moment to watch a rock climber on the face of Storm Dome. Apparently the climbing community has discovered this wall. There was a small group of climbers camped at the bottom and they were working this wall like Tom and I were working the lake. Can you see the climber on the wall?

How about now? or Now? I think that I’m going to pass on that activity!

One more glance down to the lake and it is time to head down to camp. Also note North Loon Peak on the right and the Loon Creek Drainage below.

As we head down, we get a nice view of all four of the Twenty Mile Lakes.

Wrapping up our Day 2 Adventure, we get a nice view of what will be our Day 3 Adventure, Dogslide Peak located on the right side of the ridge. Y’all come back now, ya hear?
