Lewiston to McCall Par Autobus, Idaho

Its now time for my annual bus trip from Lewiston to McCall. I always tell people that you have not lived until you’ve taken a trip on the Greyhound Bus System.

It’s been snowy the last couple of days and I expected the bus might be delayed. Almost an hour after scheduled time, the bus arrives. Apparently the highways are a bit snow coated.

Good news! I can have any seat I want.

Right off the bat I could see the views were going to be hazy today with the road spray covered windows.

Even along the Salomon River, the snow is all the way to the bottom of the canyon. Luckily, the roads were pretty good and since there were only 3 other passengers, we quickly made up time by skipping all the small town bus stops.

Turns out the window haze makes for a good camera filter!

About 4 hours later we arrive about 10 minutes early to McCall. A quick stop at Ridely’s and my buddy Rich picks me up for the last 3 miles of my journey. Luckily I grabbed some chips and cookies to enjoy for the Super Bowl.
