Camping at Coler Mountain Preserve.

For today’s ride we head north to the village of Bella Vista and the Little Sugar Trail System. This may not look like much on this map but there are about 50 miles of trail here and across the road and to the east is another 50 miles or so.

We started out on the outer loop which is called Tunnel Vision. Our initial intent was to complete the entire outer loop but as the day wore on it was clear that would not happen and we looked for short cuts.

Rich on one of the many climbs along the way. In all, we would climb about 3000 feet.

Another tunnel image with a bonus selfie.

This is one of the many road crossings where they simply went under the road.

Rolling along Sugar Creek.

Today was much warmer but still had a nice crisp feel.

Speianchi poses next to Sugar Creek.

Rich doing a drop in.

Lago Vista. You know I love water infrastructure!

The 3000 feet of climb for the day all comes in 100 to 200 foot steps.

Ever wonder what happened to ET after he flew away? Check out the tree above Speianchi.

More Lago Vista.

Later in the day, Rich rolls along a flatter section of Tunnel Vision.

More amazing cycling infrastructure. Thank you Sam Walton!

Winter riding in Northwest Arkansas.

Finally, after almost 30 miles of single track, Rich and I hit the coffee shop for a boost to make it the 1.5 miles back to camp.
