After a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with the Fam, it is back to full time adventures. The Tour De Sud continues with a special guest. I picked up Rich in Albuquerque and we headed east to Palo Duro Canyon, one of my favorite southern biking destinations.

First stop, a little spelunking. We hike up to this slot canyon.

A view from the cave.

After that little side adventure it was time to get cycling.

Recent rains have closed some of the lower trails. Turns out the red clay here is like atomic glue.

Rich and I stop after a bit of hike-a-biking and absorbed the sun and views.

Super wide angle view of Texas.

Up on the rim we look down on our campground.

While taking a break, we start hearing a weird helicopter sounding thing and seconds later this flew by……Turns out that Bell Helicopter is located in nearby Amarillo and perhaps was testing this Osprey.

On the south end of the rim we stop for this view.

Time to drop back in from the top.

Rich rolls along the Capital Peak Trail.

Room a Zoom Zoom!

Speianchi takes a break under this red shark fin.

The geology here is fascinating. More adventures to follow.
