All good things must come to an end and so it is true for the Summer of 61. After spending a couple of days (weeks) preparing to migrate south for the winter, I was in need of a hike.
Today’s theme must be trees!
More trees!
It was a gorgeous fall day with a full blossom of autumn colors. I was joined today by Finn, Susan, Tom, Art, Anne, and in a big surprise, Anne’s spouse Mark. Anne always talks about her husband while hiking with our group but we have never met him. We have all been convinced that “Mark” is imaginary. But no!?!? During the hike, I pulled Mark off to the side and asked a couple questions. He quickly reviled that he had just met Anne a couple days ago down at McPaws and that she paid him to pretend to be her husband. I told the rest of the group but we all agreed that we should keep going along with it.
A big thank you to this hiking group for this Grand Finale and thank you to all my hiking partners this summer. It was amazing! I LOVE IDAHO! Stay tuned for new adventures down south!
