Lake Rock Lake – Payette National Forest, Idaho

On an absolutely gorgeous day, Bill, Barb, Tom, Susan, Finn and I headed to a local favorite, Lake Rock Lake.

Cool temps and calm winds.

After a goodly amount of time, we arrive at the lake to do some lake things.

Tom starts whipping water on his favorite rock.

Susan and Finn do some lamping.

Finnster looks for some mud.

Finn might be one of the cutest dogs ever!

Barb catches a fish on her first cast on her brand new rod.

Turns out Barb is a pretty good fly fisher….. who knew????

Bill has skills as well.

Finnster hams it up for the camera.

After some moving around, I finally find the perfect angle and pick up the sunlight on the fishing line.

Tommy whips the water to a froth.

Here is an extremely rare image of Tom catching a fish!

Susan takes a forest bath.

Finally, Barb proves to Bill that she can indeed walk on water.
