The over-book-em tour continues down here in the southwest. Next up, a pre-dawn drive to the Grand Canyon followed by sunrise!

As painful as the early morning trip proved to be, the dawn light on in the Canyon was amazing.

I’ve been to the South Rim years ago pre Davefaitlemonde and like many of my National Park visits, it was beautify but the experience was ruined by the hoards of tourists.

I’m sure my followers know that tourist and tourist activities are not my bag baby. This early October visit to the North Rim proved to be a much better. Low traffic and quiet trails.

After a little breakfast, we headed over to Point Imperial for a hike. How many different ways and angles can I shoot this rock? One!

2) Wide angle with the sun.

3) Slight zoom with some shrubbery.

Around the corner, we find trees and more cool views.

4) With an old snag.

5) Now with trees, old snags, and shrubbery.

6) With Nicole! This one also gives you a sense of the vastness of this canyon.

Yeah, we got ya layers.

7) Back the other direction now with fall colors.

On the way back out of the park, the Quaking Aspen were off the charts colorwise.

Aspens with filters applied.

I leave you with one last image of an infinity highway.
